About BioNordic

BioNordic A/S is a Danish company dedicated to the production and distribution of products applied in Biotechnology and Nutrition, working through subsidiaries and associated companies around the world.

The Group was founded in South America in 1975, and since then
we have become experts in creating added value for animal by products, specializing in turning animal blood into products used in the Food, Feed, and Biotechnology industry. Currently, we have offices in North America and Europe.

Since our foundation, we have expanded our operations and business lines to where we currently supply the life sciences industry with a wide range of high-quality animal sera, cell culture media, reagents and antibiotics. Additionally, we offer a variety of blood-derived animal proteins used in applications for the human food, animal feed, and agriculture sector.

Medical and Scientific Equipment

Through MSE, we supply the medical industry with their choice of scientific equipment. Offering a range of centrifuges, accessories, plastic consumables, and cell culture products, MSE’s mission is to become a market leader in the supply of state-of-the-art medical and scientific equipment.

Research and Development

Abcell-bio is the name of the Group’s R&D facility, located in Paris, France. They specialize in research and the production of stem cells isolated from cord blood, supported by their partnerships with maternity wards throughout the greater Paris area. Offering a wide variety of endothelial and hematopoietic cells, along with cell culture media best served for their cells.

Functional Proteins

We provide an environmental solution to the management
of organic by-products from animal processing facilities, transforming them into proteins of high nutritional value for the production of food, feed, pharma, and fertilizer products.

Our purpose is to create innovative blood products that contribute to improving the environment, along with our consumer’s health, nutrition, and improve their quality of life.

Life Science Supplies: Sera, Media & Reagents

We have become experts in the collection and processing of animal blood, offering a broad range of animal sera for use in biotechnology applications for example vaccine research and production and chemically defined cell culture media. 

Our products are currently being used in the academic, industrial and governmental research sectors. Some of the research fields where our products are used include cell biology, virology, oncology, genomics, proteomics, immunology, drug discovery, and toxicology.
